Tropical Storm Katia as of the 5pm Advisory from the NHC. Katia is suppose the become a hurricane later and has the potential to become a major hurrican by the latter end of the weekend. As of now the forcast models have Katia move WNW and curve out to sea. HOWEVER this track is subject to change to keep checking up on my blog or the NOAA or Weather.gov in the NHC section. What do u guys think landfall in the US or curve out to sea? WE obiously dont need another hurricane after hurrican Irene left its mark NC and north.
